"I bought this Pandigital PanImage PI1003DW 10.1-Inch Digital Picture Frame as a gift for my grandmother. She is old and doesn't use the pc or smart phone etc... The size of the unit is nice. I'm sure it would store more than enough photos for the average person. You can set transitions and adjust the amount of time between them. Also, you can set the frame to come on and shut off automatically. Not a super long power cord, but that's not too big of a deal."

As a grandmother with little time for technology, I was happy to have set it up for her, and she loves showing folks the many pictures of family, and events that have occurred in the last 10 years. "The Pandigital PanImage PI1003DW picture quality is very good. The on-screen menu (accessible via the remote) is fairly self explanatory, although easier for myself (very technolgically adept) than my mother. It has not been connected to the computer, as the option to populate the internal memory from an SD card is simple and affective. I would recommend paying a little more for a unit such as this, to get the larger screen size if purchasing for an older adult."
